Great Things to See & Do in Multicultural Atlanta
Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Week and Black History Month

Martin Luther King Jr.

Each year Atlanta celebrates the birthday of Martin Luther King Jr. with a week of activities, including the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra’s annual tribute, “A King Celebration,” at the King Chapel of Morehouse College. Other events include the Salute to Greatness Awards banquet, which honors individuals committed to Martin Luther King Jr. ideals, a Commemorative Service at Ebenezer Baptist Church, as well as exhibits, children’s activities and concerts throughout the city.

For more information, call the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change at (404) 526-8900 or visit www.thekingcenter.com.
